Maisonblock is a small, independent studio that makes Shopify sections and blocks for fashion, beauty and lifestyle stores. The name joins maison, a fashion house, with block, the unit Shopify themes are built from.
Why we exist
Good storefront components are often hard to judge before you buy: demos sit behind passwords, pages lean on countdowns that restart and counters that are made up, and the install guide only arrives after payment. We think a merchant should be able to use a component, read its settings and its guide, and then decide.
How we work
- Everything runs live. Each product page has the real component working with sample products, and you can change its settings there.
- Theme-native. A piece is a Liquid file and its own assets. No app, no subscription, no outside scripts.
- Honest by design. We don't invent social proof, and our components don't either.
- Accessible. Keyboard paths, focus handling and reduced-motion support are part of the definition of done.
- Open documentation. Install guides and every theme-editor setting are public.
Where things stand
This is the first collection. Each piece is code complete and render-tested with sample shop data. We mark a piece "Store tested" only after it has passed in a live Shopify store, and we say so on its page.
