Overview

What it does

Orbit lines your sneakers up on a slow, tilted orbit. The shoe at the front is full size and sharp; the rest shrink, fade and soften into the distance, so the eye always lands on one product.

Drag, swipe, scroll the jog dial or use the arrow keys to bring the next pair round. The front shoe shows its name, colour line, price and the sizes in stock for that colour; one tap on a size adds it to the bag, and sold-out sizes are struck through, not hidden.

Installation

How it gets into your store

Download the files from the link in your order email.
In Shopify, open your theme's code (Online Store › Themes › ⋯ › Edit code) and add the one file where the manual shows.
Open the theme editor and add it: it appears as "Maisonblock …" with every setting ready.
Fill it with your own products, photos and text. Try it on a copy of your theme first.

Other Online Store 2.0 themes, paid ones included, are expected to work but are not tested one by one. Not for vintage themes (from before Online Store 2.0): they can’t add sections in the theme editor.

Store test	Passed on 2026-10-25 in a live Shopify store on Horizon 4.3 and Dawn 16: renders with real products and photos, adds to the real Shopify cart, keeps the theme’s cart count in step, and fits a phone screen. On 2026-11-06 it passed again on Horizon 4.3 and Dawn 16.1, with the themes’ light and dark colours, on a desktop and a phone screen: no script errors, nothing off the screen, all text readable, and clear of sticky headers.

Fixed: on Dawn with a dark colour scheme, the product name was light text on the light stage. Headings now take the section’s own text colour. If your theme or an app already uses one of this piece’s element names, or the piece is on a page twice, the rest of the page’s scripts keep working (before, the second definition stopped them).

Fixed: a script error when no shoe has a product. The section now hides itself on the store and says what to do in the theme editor. Tall photos now stay on the stage instead of running off it. Wide cut-outs look the same as before, and still read best.

Now one file: the styles and scripts live inside the Liquid file, so installing means uploading a single file. To update from an older version, upload the new file and delete the old mb- files from your theme’s assets folder.
