1. Who we are
Maisonblock ("we", "us") sells digital Shopify components (sections, theme blocks and a theme) and a website build service. The seller is Jayden Turner, doing business as Maisonblock, California, USA. You can reach us through the contact page.
By buying from us you agree to these terms, the licence and the refund policy. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
2. What you're buying
Each product is a set of files to install in a Shopify theme, with a PDF manual. Each product page lists what's included, which themes it was tested on and what you need. You can try every product live on its page before buying.
Products are files you install yourself. Installing them, and backing up your theme first, is your responsibility. The PDF manual that comes with each product explains how.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and charged once; there is no subscription. Any sales tax or VAT that applies is shown at checkout before you pay. Checkout and payment are handled by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see your full card details.
We may change prices at any time. A price change never affects an order you've already paid for.
4. Delivery
After payment we email you a download link, which also appears on your order status page. The files are delivered through Google Drive. If a link doesn't work, contact us with your order number and we'll resend it.
5. Updates
When we improve a product you bought, your existing download link gives you the newest version. We list what changed in each product's changelog.
6. Acceptable use
Don't share your download links, resell or redistribute the files (see the licence), or try to interfere with the site.
7. Refunds

8. Warranty and liability
We test every product and describe it accurately. Apart from that, products are provided "as is", without other warranties. Shopify themes and apps vary and change, so we can't promise a product will work with every theme, app or future Shopify update. If something doesn't work as described, tell us and we'll help or refund you under the refund policy.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost sales or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
9. Trademarks
Shopify, Horizon and Dawn are trademarks of Shopify Inc. Product names and brands shown in our live demos belong to their owners. Their owners don't sponsor or endorse Maisonblock.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force when you bought applies to that purchase.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes go to the courts of California, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
12. The website build service
This section covers our Fully Built Interactive Shopify Website service. Sections 2, 4 and 5 are about products and don't apply to it. The rest of these terms do.
- It's for businesses. You're buying it for use in your business.
- What you get. One website, with the scope shown on the service's page and confirmed in your brief. It includes five clarification messages with the Maisonblock CEO in your private build chat, and one consolidated feedback round of up to five minor text, image or colour adjustments within the agreed design. Anything more is a separate quote that you accept first.
- Your build chat. It opens once your brief is in, and it's in writing: personal replies usually arrive within 1–2 business days, with no calls and no instant replies. Only the clarification messages you send count, up to five per website build. Our replies, your brief, your feedback round and reports of a defect in our work never count. We keep the transcript with your project record.
- Your feedback round. Submit it within seven calendar days of receiving your first website preview, as one consolidated round. If you don't, the included round lapses; that isn't approval of the site, and we may extend the window in writing. Where we offer an additional minor-feedback round, it's bought separately from your project page at the price shown there, with its own seven-day window from purchase. It never adds clarification messages, and nothing is charged without your purchase.
- What's yours to do. Your brief and files must be complete, accurate and yours to use. Your Shopify plan, domain, apps, payment setup, policies and the decision to publish are yours.
- Timing. We aim to share a first preview within 5 business days of a complete brief. That's a target, not a guarantee.
- Results. We build the website. We don't promise sales, rankings or revenue.
- Ownership. Your store and your content stay yours. Maisonblock designs in the build stay under the licence.
- Refunds. It's a final sale, apart from the cases in the refund policy.
- Liability. Section 8 applies, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the service.
